How to join

ESSE is hosted inside VRChat.

Join the Group+ page, watch for event announcements, then enter from the group when doors open — usually 15 minutes before the first set.

You do not need a full VR setup to attend. Desktop mode works; VR is just nicer if you have it.

Create a VRChat account

Make or sign into a VRChat account before the event, so you are not fighting login setup at doors.

Install VRChat

VRChat is available on Steam and can be used in desktop mode or with a VR headset.

Follow the ESSE group. Event access and room announcements happen through the group.

At doors

Entering the room

  1. Open VRChat about 15 minutes before the first set. ESSE instances usually open around then.
  2. Go to the ESSE group page: Group+ ESSE.9404.
  3. Open the group Instances panel. It lists joinable group-hosted rooms.
  4. Join the live event from there.

Inside

Make it smooth

  • Use an avatar that is performance-friendly enough for a club room. Avoid very heavy avatars if possible.
  • Lower graphics settings if your frame rate drops.
  • Use VRChat earmuffs / safety settings if the room feels too loud or busy.
  • If the music or video desyncs, look for the world’s resync control.
  • Respect the room, the DJs, VJs, and other guests.
